adwords of power and steel

My roommate, Dave, is one of Al Gore’s Foot Soldiers, and has been personally trained by the wildly popular former Vice President to give variations on the Inconvenient Truth presentation. Dave, like all of Gore’s volunteers, has been tasked with giving at least ten of these presentations per year.

Bush Power? He’s got a couple of presentations lined up for the very near future, and so tonight he’s invited our friends over to the apartment for a dry run. The invitation that showed up in my Gmail account had these adwords attached to the side column. Oddly, the words “George” and “Bush” do not appear anywhere in the invitation, let alone phrases like “Bush Brave,” “Bush Courage,” “Bush Power,” or “George Bush Hero”. Is a shadowy Republican organization trying to manipulate the adwords system? Are they trying to build their own Triforce? If so, they are missing Wisdom. How appropriate.

These adwords also vaguely remind me of the way that Tarzan, the Incredible Hulk, and Frankenstein express themselves. “Bush strong! Bush brave! Bush SMASH! FIRE BAD! Tax cuts GOOD! PRETTY LADY!!!”
