college web design addendum

Last week, I wrote a post about the highs and lows of college web design. I singled out Northeastern University’s page as a particularly bad example. Lo and behold, Northeastern unveiled a newer, cleaner design just yesterday. I can only assume that they read and pay attention to my site. It’s nice to finally be acknowledged.

Incidentally, my friend Grant and I went on a whirlwind tour of other college websites, and we’ve found a winner for Worst Ever. The honor goes to Carnegie Mellon University, which has sported the same ugly hideous, ill-conceived, amateurish design for the past six years.

Message: I know we’re supposed to be one of the best engineering schools in the country, but we thought we’d throw you off.
