So, my friend, Matt, sent me an Instant Message asking for suggestions for his Planetout personal ad. He recently started working at a trendy clothing store called Express, and thought that it would also make a good username. What follows is an accurate transcription of the conversation:
Matt: How about “Express”?
Me: That’s the wrong way to go. For a number of reasons.
Matt: Yeah I see your point. How about “Expressly”? The -ly really adds something, dontcha’ think?
Me: Yes, it turns “whore” into an adverb.
