My good friend, Allison, (the one from D. C.) is a frequent visitor to this site. So frequent, in fact, that she alone accounts for just over fourteen percent of its total traffic to date. The following AIM conversation is one of the reasons she’s currently featured in the site’s header.
Allison’s away message reads, “ice cream cures swelling, right?”
JON: why are you swelling?
ALLISON: i don’t know
JON: that’s…worrisome.
ALLISON: i know
JON: where is…it?
ALLISON: ON MY FACE
So, Allison, I hope that when you read this–swollen, as you are, like a plush toy of the moon–it gives you some measure of comfort.
