Today, an onslaught
Of thunder and pounding rain
Was my alarm clock.
Way better than the beep from my usual alarm. Or my cell phone backup. Or the half-starving leopard I keep leashed to within an inch of my face for the adrenaline. I’m not a morning person, is the point here.
