haiku: state of the union

Bush wanting less gas
In the State of the Union
Defines irony.

See, it’s funny because I’m implying that a plea from the heir of an oil legacy to conserve gas and the rose-colored pomp of the State of the Union are simultaneously ironic. Irony to the power of two, if you will.
