Like I said before, I love innovative animation and other arts. To that end, a trio of links:
Ganesha and the Mango This one has been sitting in my bookmarks forever. This senior animation project from the immensely talented Brian Schmoyer pretty much proves that whole “traditional animation ain’t dead” thing I was talking about earlier. Stylized, colorful graphics give life to this classic Hindu parable.
The Perry Bible Fellowship Twisted, offbeat, sometimes disturbing weekly comic. A new one every Sunday. Definitely wins the award for fastest entrance into the permanent section of my bookmarks.
Barry Says A left-wing conspiracy rant about how the Bush administration is halfway to igniting World War III. Don’t get me wrong, I put about as much stock in the extreme left as I do in the extreme right. The saving grace of this video, however, is its absolutely stunning graphical accompaniment. Dig that slick retro feel.
