la institutriz!

For those of you too poor to buy a paperback, or too lazy to read, you can listen to David Sedaris on NPR’s website. Many of Sedaris’s radio pieces mirror the work published in his best selling books, and some of them don’t appear in print at all. Go. Listen. Laugh.

I’m working on another project with my buddy, Jon, and suffice to say, I’ve learned quite a lot about Clue and Clue. I don’t think anybody realizes exactly how many different versions of Clue are out there. I’ve developed a bit of an obsession with the various incarnations of Professor Plum, perhaps because he’s the intellectual, or perhaps because I find his name to be delicious. My favorite version has got to be “Violeta la Institutriz” from the Chilean version, appropriately titled “Quien?” The Chilean equivalent features not only an Institutriz, but also a Chef, Sea Captain, and Psychic Medium. Oh those crazy Chileans.
