my favorite cartoons
Chuck’s Jones’s Rabbit Seasoning is one of my favorite cartoons. It’s easy enough to find a decent copy on Youtube. I didn’t know they made stuff this funny in 1951. You can find other gems as well. I’ve yet to meet a single human who doesn’t love What’s Opera Doc? SPEAR AND MAGIC HELMET!
My other Chuck Jones favorite is Duck Amuck (obligatory link to the terrifyingly thorough Wikipedia entry). This one is hard to find. I mean, if you’re okay with Italian, here you go. Other than that, it seems to have escaped the Internet’s clutches.
Until now. Courtesy of the Spline Doctors blog, this classic is at last available (for educational purposes) in high quality Quicktime. If I’m any Looney Tune, I’m Daffy to the core.
