Virtually all of the Even Stevphen clips have returned to Youtube, and if anything, they are better organized than ever before. Thank you, MsWhoopee, whoever you are. I believe this puts me at 2-1 on half-baked media theories.

There’s a newish Gladwell piece up at the New Yorker’s site. You know I like it, though this one doesn’t feel as dense as his usual fare.
Did you know that the first Google result for “political smurf” is a discourse on The Smurfs as Marxist metaphor? I didn’t, until I typed it in. It’s actually a really interesting read, with choice lines like: “Gargomel’s ginger cat, Azrael, represents the worker in the ruthless, free-market state that is Gargomel’s house.”
And whoosh! I am gone.
