robot chicken does star wars

Seth Green and company, with the blessing (and vocal contribution!) of George Lucas, recently put together a tribute to Star Wars using their insane Robot Chicken platform.  You can tell that everyone who contributed to the show is a true fan (yup, that’s really Mark Hamill), and the hilarious half-hour episode is an obvious labor of love.

Is it funny?  People, you cannot withstand the power of this fully operational television program.

Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim site has most of the episode cut into convenient pieces for quick viewing, but if you want to sit back and enjoy the full episode without interruption (as I did), I would recommend downloading this program and running a search for “robot chicken star wars”.  Seth Green all but tells you it’s okay to do so.  I doubt you’ll have much trouble finding it.

Also, is Seth Green immortal?  IMDB alleges the man is 33 years old, but I swear he doesn’t age.

And yes, this is a total cop-out of a post.  It’s a busy week for me.

hmmm, yeah, today’s post is not up to your usual standards … but that sentence from yesterday’s (‘sacks in a nutshell’) more than makes up for it; what an amazing sentence: “He never fails to capture the intricacy, wonder, and fundamental humanity of the cases he describes.” yikes, i loved it … and still do. just reading that made my day.
