Remember Mary Poppins? Remember that extended acid trip where Mary, Burt, and the kids jump into a sidewalk chalk drawing and procede to cavort with a menagerie of talking animals and charming British proles? I wasn’t so much a fan of the cartoon universe as the basic idea that you could jump into a painting.
