the crocodile hunter is dead
Ladies and gentlemen, Steve Irwin, otherwise known as the Crocodile Hunter, has died, killed by the deadly barb of a stingray. Irwin was an almost larger than life character, almost cartoonish in personality. He was one of those people whom you just don’t expect to show any of the standard mortal failings. Like dying. He leaves behind several children and was, by all accounts, a great guy. I am shocked and saddened by his death.
Stung to death by the ocean’s variant of the scorpion, though. At least it’s an EXTREME way to go.
