Insane Weather

This is not normal weather for January. Hell, in Boston it’s not normal weather for late March. In any event, we’re presently enjoying a tropical paradise up here in the Northeast. I’m not complaining, I’m just a little freaked out. In the words of Stephen Colbert, “Global warming is a fact. Al Gore’s movie made money, the free market has spoken.”

    I’ve been wondering about that, because I’ve been checking the weather there lately, and it seems like it’s only been around 3º cooler in Boston than it has been in L.A., and actually 3º warmer in Boston than in Lancaster, CA, the desert exurb of L.A. my mother lives in.
