Oh, internet, the things you can show me when I least expect it.  This week I discovered The Spline Doctors–the blog of four Pixar animators/teachers.  Their writing ranges from the highly technical to the much more approachable.  A blog run by four Pixar guys chock full of useful animation information and personal experiences?  Consider yourself bookmarked.

I recognize that with posts on esoteric topics like inverse kinematics, The Spline Doctors appeal to a fairly specific audience, the kind of people who understand that the phrase “Spline Doctors” is an awful pun.  It’s a specialty blog, really.  This makes me wonder, what special websites do you read that few other people do?  Things that cater to your specific interests, professional or personal.  Feel free to let me know in the comments.
